Welcome to the clinic.

Fall 2022 Cohort

We are on our third round of the Cannabis Law Clinic, and continue to find ourselves with a front row seat to the ever-changing landscape of an emerging regulatory industry. With rollout of recreational licenses taking as long as 4 years in some cities, and social equity programs being part of the “trial and error” phase, we have real-life operators and social equity applicants as clients throughout the clinic.

Regular classes are mixed lecture, mixed case study format.

Our session is held on one evening a week, via Golden Gate University’s Zoom account, with in-person clinic events and field study options for students based locally.

From our clinic’s inaugural graduating class, 45% of students went on to pursue careers in the cannabis industry.
